The losing blood mechanic is annoying, to the point where CQM's version of Camarilla Edition gives you the option to turn it off. It adds an annoying ticking clock element to a game where you should really slow down and take your time, and makes certain sections (like that one, late game) absolute hell.. I suggest you either don't play CE or at least turn this option off, if you're a first .
